On the green (around the hole), the player may
plays ahead with a permission from the fellow competitor.

If the ball of a fellow competitor is on the player's line after the second hit, it can be asked to mark and temporarily remove it.
As a rule, mark it just behind the ball which is on the line connecting the hole cup and the ball, and remove the ball. Do not mark it after removing the ball. Always place a ball marker first.
Use a commercially available ball marker or coin as a marker.
That player shall mark spontaneously or drop in the cup first when the ball is in the distance within 2 clubs away from the cup hole.
Around the hall cups where the lawn was cut short and the specially maintained areas are called Green.
