The necessary equipment for play is three points: club, ball and tee. The clubhead should be wood and weighing less than 600 grams. A loft (tilt angle) should not be attached to the ball striking the face of the head. Because park golf is played in parks where people are also relaxing, there would be danger if the ball flys high. Therefore, you should focus on safety over the distance of the ball.

The ball is made of plastic, diameter 6 cm, weight 80 to 95 g. It is colorful like white, red, blue, yellow and orange.

Tee is the platform on which to place the ball and is used for the opening shot of each hole. It should be made of rubber or soft material with a height of 2.3 cm or less. Rubber Tee using elastic rubber is most common.

In addition, when picking up the ball temporarily, it would be convenient to have one ball marker or coin to indicate its position.

*Clubs, balls and tees used in park golf should be only certified by Nippon Park Golf Association.
